Beauty
Inspired by localghost, this is simply a list of all the products I regularly use for beauty purposes, including skincare, makeup, and fragrance.
Skincare
Skincare is something I really value as self-care, and I try to commit to my daily routine. Here it is in order:
- Cleanser: Esfolio Collagen Cleansing Foam - This is a Korean brand that can be hard to find, but it's what I'm currently using and I love it.
- Toner: Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pore-Tight Toner
- Serum: Cocokind Chlorophyll Discoloration Serum
- Moisturizer: Matter of Fact Maximalist Age-Defying Moisturizer
- Sunscreen: Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sunscreen Stick - SPF 45
Makeup
There are many people who I admire for their makeup skills, such as Saria Slays and Katie Jane Hughes, but I'm nowhere near their level. I'm pretty understated when it comes to makeup, and I tend to stick to the same few products.
Primer: I use Touch in Sol's No Poreblem Primer, and I absolutely love it. I don't see myself switching to another primer anytime soon. It noticeably smooths my skin and just feels amazing.
Eyeliner: Lately I've been using e.l.f.'s No Budge eyeliner. For liquid eyeliner, I use Charlotte Tilbury Feline Flick.
Eyeshadow: I'm a huge proponent of e.l.f. palettes and Natasha Denona. I also love Julep eyeshadow sticks. They go on really nicely and last all day.
Blush: I don't use blush that often, but I really like Milani for a lovely affordable option.
Foundation: I found Rose Inc and I'm never going back. It goes on smooth, isn't cakey, and looks light and natural.
Mascara: I really like Honest Beauty's lengthening mascara with lash primer, but lately I've also been using e.l.f.'s Big Mood mascara, and I really like how full it makes my lashes look.
Lipstick: I love lipstick. It's my favorite thing makeup-wise. Charlotte Tilbury is my go-to, but I also love Nyx Smooth Whip, e.l.f., and Revlon's Black Cherry.
Lip Gloss/Oils: Just like lipsticks, I'm addicted to lip gloss and lip oils. Right now, my favorites are Milani Fruit Fetish and Fenty Gloss Bomb in shimmering pink for everyday wear.
Fragrance
Fragrance is a fairly new obsession for me, and I'm slowly building a collection. My signature scent is Tom Ford Oud Wood, an earthy and spicy unisex scent that I often find myself falling back on.
A few more scents I love:
- Dolce & Gabbana The Only One - my second favorite fragrance; such a cozy scent with a lovely coffee note
- Ellis Brooklyn Apple Love - great for autumn
- Commodity Rain - a good fresh, clean scent
- Define Me Floret - my favorite "girly" fragrance
- Moschino Toy 2 - fruity and great for spring/summer, and it comes in an adorable bottle!
- Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’62 - smells like the embodiment of summer, great for everyday wear and layering with other scents
