Eeveelution Quiz
I did a quiz! Thanks to Swifty's HQ, I now know which eeveelution I am: Leafeon!
I've always been a fan of grass-type Pokémon. My first starter ever, way back in the day, was Bulbasaur. I've stuck with the tradition and chosen grass types for almost all of my starters since then: Turtwig, Snivy, Rowlet, and Sprigatito. The one exception was Mudkip in Generation 3, which was a water type, simply because I thought it was too adorable not to choose.
My favorite eeveelution is Leafeon, closely followed by Sylveon (how could I not love a Pokémon whose name begins with Syl?), and grass/poison Vileplume is my second favorite Pokémon of all. First is Gyarados, who again is a water type. Maybe I'm a big water fan too? The goth in me also loves ghost and dark types.
Gyarados has been my favorite since Generation 1. I love that it's inspired by the Chinese legend of a carp swimming upriver all the way to the Dragon Gate and jumping over it to become a dragon. I love its design, its snakelike body, and the fact that it's a really solid Pokémon in battle. Giving it Dragon Dance makes it almost unstoppable.
One of the great things about Blaugust is that I never quite know what I'll end up blogging about. I don't plan anything out, really, and that's how you now have a post about my favorite Pokémon.
