Nashville Trip & Halloween Nails
We drove to Nashville yesterday to see our favorite band, VOLA. They're a progressive metal band from Denmark and Sweden. It was the fourth time we've seen them live, and we've traveled as far away as Seattle to see them in the past, which is on the other side of the country from us. That was the same trip where we got engaged! Nashville is the closest VOLA has come to us, so it was a pretty easy drive comparatively, only about two and a half hours.
We arrived in time to grab a bite to eat before the concert. There was a little upscale dive bar called Connie's next to the venue that we decided to check out. We both had beers and kimchi hot dogs, which were delicious.
VOLA were amazing, as always. It's the 10th anniversary of their first album, Inmazes, so they played a couple of deep cuts from it. It was really cool to hear those songs live.
I did my own nails recently as well, and I wanted to show them off here because I'm kind of proud of them. I did a French tip style in Halloween colors. I'm not a professional nail tech by any means, and they're not perfect, but I love them and they're really helping me get into the Halloween spirit!
