Small Games Showcase
Here are some more small games I've enjoyed lately! All of these games are free to play and you can play them right in your browser, but please consider supporting indie devs if you particularly enjoy their games.

This is a super cute and funny text-based adventure where you play as a bear going about their day. After waking up from a nap inside a cave, you can explore your surroundings and maybe have some interesting encounters along the way. I love how the text is stylized in this game. For example, when you're given the option to growl, the word "growl" is in all-caps and shaking. It's a charming game that I'm hoping to share with my eight-year-old niece at some point!

You'll use the arrow keys to traverse an art museum in this contemplative game that's filled with beautiful pixel art. I think my favorite bit is the audio exhibit. A lovely little exploration that echoes one of my favorite real-life pastimes and reminds you to appreciate the experience of appreciating art.

I played this game for almost two hours in one sitting because I could not stop. It's a typing game, which I'm a sucker for, with incremental elements. I had to keep going, building my writing empire and dismantling the AI industry, and I had a blast doing it.

A beautiful and deceptively hard game where you press a single key to jump on platforms. Your goal is to ascend as high as you can. It seems simple, but it gets progressively more challenging. It feels really good to play, and it's hard to stop! I loved everything about this, from the art style to the music to the gameplay.

This was a pretty neat little horror game! I loved the art style and sound design. The reveal at the end wasn't super effective, but I like what they were going for, and honestly the puzzles and gameplay were so fun that I could've kept playing for hours. I loved the quirky office setting, and the puzzles had me completely engrossed trying to figure them out.
