Spirit City DLC & Weekend Recap

I've mentioned before that Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is one of my favorite ways to help with productivity. Well, today it got an expansion pack called Spirit City: All Aboard! It comes with a new train location that you can fully customize and decorate, along with new spirits to unlock. I have a deep love for trains, so this DLC is right up my alley. I've already decorated my train in autumnal goth vibes.

On Saturday, I went with my mom, sister, and niece to my new favorite local restaurant called The Farmacy. I tried their Dubai chocolate dessert, which was seriously heavenly. It consisted of chocolate ganache, pistachio cream, strawberries, and crumbled kadaifi.

After enjoying our meal, we went to the Knoxville Children's Theatre to watch their performance of The Hobbit. My niece, Liz, loves going to their shows, but it was my first time seeing one. They did a great job! The costume designs were impressive, especially Smaug. I'd definitely like to go back and see another performance in the future.

Later that night, Danny and I went over to my sister and brother-in-law's house to play some Magic the Gathering. My cousin came over as well. I won a game with a deck I built myself, which was a good feeling, and my brother-in-law gave me one of his Ultimecia cards. I'm a huge Final Fantasy VIII fan, so even if I never use the card, I'm just happy to have it as a collector's item.

Sunday was a lazy day. I wasn't feeling well (I think I have an ear infection), so I slept a lot and did a lot of reading. Honestly, being curled up on the bed with Ranni and a couple of books is my favorite thing.
