Wedding Reception 💕

Danny and I got married back in March, but since we did the courthouse thing, we wanted to have a day to invite all our family and friends to celebrate with us. So we had a belated reception this past Saturday.

It was a small celebration. There were only about 30 people in attendance, and it was held at my parents' house. They have a large property with plenty of room, lots of trees, and some woods. It's a beautiful place, and we thought it would be perfect for the event. We rented a tent for shade along with tables and chairs, and we decorated with woodland decor that we found at Walmart and Target. For music, Danny and I made a playlist filled with fun party songs as well as songs that mean something to us personally. And everyone brought food, potluck-style!

We had so much food and so many gifts! I feel incredibly loved and grateful to everyone for attending and sharing the day with us. The weather turned out to be perfect as well. It wasn't too hot because there was a lovely breeze blowing the entire time. Here are a few photos from the event!

Another closeup, this time of candles and a squirrel!
My sister set up a table where guests could write us notes. They were really fun and sweet to read through!

My cousin got us custom Funko Pops that look like us, and we're holding game controllers! I'm not a Funko collector, but I thought this was such a cute and thoughtful gift.
