My husband and the great love of my life.
We met on Bumble! In 2016, I got out of a bad relationship and moved in with my parents temporarily. I spent six years getting to know myself better as an individual, and when I finally felt ready to date again, I decided to check out the dreaded world of online dating. I chose Bumble because it seemed like the least egregious platform. And hey, it worked for us!
I swiped right on Danny because we shared a lot of interests (and yes, of course I thought he was cute!). The first things we talked about were Elden Ring and The Green Knight. Our first date was over Discord, chatting on voice while we watched Event Horizon together, one of his favorite films. Then we had an in-person date at a sushi restaurant, and from there it was history.
He proposed in September 2023 during a trip to Seattle. We were on the viewing platform at the top of the Space Needle, looking down on the city at night. It was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life.
In March 2024, we had a courthouse wedding, followed by a small reception with about 30 family members and friends later in August. We traveled to New York City and Sleepy Hollow for a couple days for our mini-moon.

Ranni
Our little lunar pup. 🌙 We adopted Ranni in early November of 2024, when she was eight weeks old. I wrote about it in this post. And I wrote about her one-year birthday in this post!
She's absolutely my baby, and my goal is to give her the best life possible. I'm endlessly grateful that I work from home, which means I can be with her all day. Danny is usually off in the mornings, and he takes her to the park where she can get plenty of exercise running around and catching a tennis ball. Later in the day, when I'm off work, she gets treats, cuddles, and indoor playtime with me.
We both have Saturdays off, and we usually all get outside together for a while.

Dislikes: loud noises, swimming, baths, being told she can't bring the outside ball into the house
